It shall be the duty of the Committee on Public Works and Highways to consider all matters pertaining to the development and repair of public highways; the Highway Fund; the Turnpike Fund; buildings and capital construction; the capital budget; matters pertaining to state bonding authority; capital expenditures related to the improvement and preservation of the coastline; the care of state memorials and monuments; and such other matters as may be referred to it.

Personal Biography
Born Nov. 15, 1957 in Claremont NH. Have lived in Claremont most of my life & NH all my life. Graduate of Claremont's Stevens High School & Keene State College, Keene, NH. Was first elected to NH House in 1992, & now in my 17th Term. Now work as a private security officer, but have also made a living as a substitute teacher, newspaper reporter, community organizer, aide in a group home for developmentally challenged children, & bus driver.
Local Government Involvement
Have been elected to a local government position. But have served in various community organizations like the Friends of Claremont's Fiske Free Library, the Claremont Jaycees, as well as on the Board of Directors of the NH Community Federal Credit Union in Claremont. Also active in various local political organizations such as the Claremont & Sullivan County Democrats.
Miscellaneous Information:
Love to read, especially non-fiction. A history & basball buff. Also enjoy walking, swimming, & being outside in New England's beautiful rural areas!
