Position:  Vice Chair
Committee Function:
It shall be the duty of the Committee on Ways and Means to examine and consider the state of the treasury; to consider and report on all bills and resolutions relating to raising money by a state tax and the apportionment of same; matters relating to taxes and fees on tobacco; all dedicated funds except for the highway and turnpike funds; state fees, and all methods of raising revenue for the state; and such other matters as may be referred to it. The Committee on Ways and Means shall report to the House in the form of a resolution its estimates of state revenues on a periodic basis.

Personal Biography
Jordan Ulery was born and spent his adolescent years in Indiana. His father moved to Vermont during his high school years and then to the Nashua area. Jordan graduated from St. Anselm College in 1971 with a degree in classical political science and a minor in philosophy. In his professional life Ulery was one of the first NREMTs in New England and graduated from the first Paramedic course and NHTI. He spent decades providing direct ambulance and paramedic services to people, including at the Loudon racetracks. After being an EMT, Jordan became a fraud investigator for a private firm and was involved in investigating cases of insurance fraud in the work place. He had a tangential role in the Massachusetts workers' comp fraud scheme and worked on several million dollar claims for a variety of insurance companies.
Local Government Involvement
Jordan Ulery is an elected member of the Hudson Planning Board and current sits as Vice-Chair of that Board. On the COunty level Representative Ulery is a long-time member of the Executive Board of Hillsborough County.
Miscellaneous Information:
Jordan Ulery is active in the New Hampshire State Council of the New Hampshire Knights of Columbus where he holds an elected role.
