Committee Function:It shall be the duty of the Committee on Commerce and Consumer Affairs to consider all matters pertaining to commerce, banks and banking institutions; insurance companies and contracts or insurance of any character; the licensing of businesses to sell liquor; the needs of the business community; all matters relating to consumer affairs and the economic conditions of commerce and industry; all matters relating to the economic development of the state, and such other matters as may be referred to it.
Personal Biography
30+ years as IT Professional and entrepreneur. I have graduated with Bachelors of Technology in Computer Science and Engineering from Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) BHU, India.
A Nashua resident since 2002, I have over two decades of community service in Nashua, New Hampshire. My community service has focused on advocating, volunteering and fundraising for Nashua Soup kitchen, Nashua Homeless shelter as well as soup kitchens in Manchester and Derry.
I have organized a Medicare camp in Nashua for seniors and have led efforts to raise funds to support hurricane victims in Florida and Puerto Rico.
For more than 20 years , I have been a leader with the India Association of New Hampshire, and currently serve as Vice President.
