Personal Biography
Born and raised in Tilton and now living in Franklin, James is a freshman at Saint Anselm College in Manchester.
He previously served on the New Hampshire Legislative Youth Advisory Council (RSA 19-K) when he attended Winnisquam Regional High School, serving as chairman for his final year in 2023-24. He also attended the American Legion's Boys Nation programs and the United States Senate Youth Program, which only select two students from each state per year to attend. These experiences allowed him to learn about government and civic participation from other young leaders from across the country, energizing him to get more involved with civics education advocacy and ensuring every student has ample opportunities to learn how to get involved with government.
James and his family have lived in the Franklin-Tilton-Northfield community for their entire lives. His mom, Doreen, was born and raised in Franklin, while his father, Richard, is a Northfield native. James also has an older and a younger sister, Kristina and Ashley.
He ran to protect what makes New Hampshire great-low taxes, local control, and education freedom, among many others, and reform the things holding the state's families back. He is honored to serve the people of Franklin and Northfield in the House as the youngest elected state legislator in the United States.
